Pilgrim House is a lay-led, all-volunteer fellowship. Volunteers are important to achieving our goals of community and social justice.

Membership

Provides a safe, comfortable, and inviting place that meets the needs of Pilgrim House gatherings and activities.

Programs

Plans and facilitates Sunday programs with diverse speakers and topics.

  • Help schedule programs for each Sunday.
  • Share ideas for possible programs or speakers.
  • Update program resources and training materials.

Music

Enhance programs through communal singing and uplifting musical performances that amplify program messages.

  • Schedule lead musician and accompanists.
  • Choose music and accompaniment.
  • Provide meditation music and music for special occasions.

Social Action

Foster worth and dignity of people by promoting social justice and community service.

Congregational Care

Support the emotional and spiritual needs of the fellowship.

  • Help members and families through visits and phone calls.
  • Provide resources for weddings, child dedication, and memorial services.

Welcome and support children and families.

Welcoming Congregation

Foster an inclusive and affirming culture.

Finance

Guide financial stewardship to support ongoing operations and financial health.

  • Maintain fiduciary compliance through bookkeeping.
  • Oversee the collection and disbursement of funds.

Building and Grounds

  • Perform interior and exterior building maintenance.
  • Supervise mowing, plowing, and cleaning contractors.
  • Care for and maintain Pilgrim House grounds and landscaping.

Communication

Connect and inform the fellowship while increasing awareness of Pilgrim House and its offerings.

  • Share news and opportunities via email and social media.
  • Take photographs to share with members and friends.

Technology

Use and maintain technology to support connections and improve accessibility.

Sunday Hospitality

Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Sunday programs.
