Rev. Leslie Mills – Activism in the Age of Compassion Fatigue Part II

Rev. Leslie Mills

Last month, Reverend Leslie Mills provided thoughts and discussion on the conflicting current priorities of personal activism and compassion. She will be continuing with this theme on Sunday, December 14.

At the end of her previous program, Rev. Mills asked us to consider a couple of questions for discussion this week.

In a world such as this, how can we fuel ourselves, our communities and our activism with a radical, dangerous and gritty kind of love?

What would be on your list of changes that you would commit to in your own life that would allow you to place love back in the center?

She also suggested watching the movie “K Pop Demon Hunters” on Netflix prior to this Sunday. It is a heart warming, life and relationship affirming film. See if you can get where she is going with its relationship to our social justice work.
