Thanksgiving Dinner

A dinner at Pilgrim House on Thanksgiving Day.

In response to several requests, the first PH Thanksgiving Day gathering was held in 2010 and was a great success. For small families, singles, and those who live away from extended family, sharing this day makes it much more social and takes the pressure out of the kitchen. Members share the cooking of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, sometimes supplemented with favorite foods from homelands outside the U.S. The turkey is generally cooked by a volunteer in the PH kitchen. In past years, dinner has been at 1pm and members have stayed until early evening, talking, enjoying late afternoon pumpkin pie, and playing games.
